Kit Studio Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Kit Studio collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. "Corner Kits", "we" and "us" means Corner Kits, a custom team apparel business based in Western New York.
What we collect
- Your design. Colours, patterns, text, names and numbers, and the layout of everything you place on the kit.
- Files you upload. Team logos, sponsor logos, your own artwork and reference images.
- What you type to Kit AI. Your descriptions and change requests, plus any images you attach.
- When you save a design: your name, email, team or business name, how many kits you need, any notes, and a picture of your kit.
- When you email yourself a design: your email and a copy of the design, so the link we send can reopen it on another device.
- Rosters. If you paste a roster to preview names and numbers, it is saved with your design. Only paste a roster if you have permission from the players (or their parents or guardians) to share their names and numbers with us for the order.
- Technical information. Your IP address and basic request details, used to limit free AI designs, prevent abuse and keep the service secure. Our hosting provider may keep these in short-term server logs.
- In your browser. Kit Studio saves your work in progress, a random visitor ID (to count free AI designs) and, if you give it, your email, in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device. You can clear it with Start over or by clearing your browser's site data.
We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels in Kit Studio, and we don't sell or rent your personal information.
How we use it
- To make your design and show you previews.
- To prepare a mockup, quote and print files when you save a design, and to contact you about it.
- To produce your order if you go ahead. If you choose Order this kit, your design, contact details and roster carry over to your order so you don't type them twice.
- To limit free AI designs, prevent abuse and keep Kit Studio working.
We won't use your design or uploads in our marketing without your permission. We will only send you marketing email if you ask for it, and every marketing email will have an unsubscribe link.
Kit AI and artificial intelligence
Kit AI designs are made by artificial intelligence. When you use Kit AI, your description and any images you attach (for example your logo, or the current print when you ask for a change) are sent to our AI providers to create the design:
- Google (Gemini API) creates the artwork. We use Google's paid service. Google states that it doesn't use prompts or responses from paid services to improve its products.
- Anthropic (Claude API) may be used instead for some designs.
These providers may keep requests for a limited time to detect abuse, as described in their own terms and privacy policies. Kit AI is for adults 18 and over.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Kit Studio and fulfil orders, and only for those purposes:
- Google: AI artwork (Gemini API) and our business email (Google Workspace), which sends us a notice when you save a design and sends you your design link when you ask for one.
- Anthropic: AI designs (Claude API), when used.
- Airtable: stores saved designs, contact details, uploads, rosters and print files.
- Render: hosts Kit Studio and its server.
- Cloudflare: delivers the site securely and quickly.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
How long we keep it
We keep saved designs and contact details for as long as we need them to quote, produce and support your order, and to keep business records the law requires. Ask us to delete your information at any time (see below) and we will, unless we must keep it for an open order or a legal reason. Information in your browser stays there until you clear it.
Children
Kit Studio is for adults: coaches, club organisers, parents and businesses. It is not directed to children, and Kit AI may only be used by people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player names on a roster are used only to produce the kits. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email sales@cornerkits.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states with privacy laws, the EU or the UK), you may have further rights under local law, and we will honour them. We won't treat you differently for using them.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your information. No online service is perfectly secure, so please don't upload anything you consider confidential.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown in Kit Studio.
